Barcelona have signed Manchester City midfielder, German international Ilkay Gundogan. The 32-year-old arrived on a free transfer, his buyout price is 400 million euros, his contract runs until June 30, 2025 and can be extended by one year.
The player, who started his adult career in Bochum’s second team and continued at Nürnberg, won the championship and cup with Dortmund, five times champion with Manchester City, two times FA Cup winner and BL winner.
City captain Gundogan could have stayed at Pep Guardiola’s first signing in 2016, but he turned down the offer. During the farewell, he gave special thanks to his former coach.
