The remains of Julian Sands are believed to have been found by hikers in California after the British actor went missing during a hike several months ago. According to the local sheriff, they are now trying to identify the remains.
Sands, 65, was hiking in the San Gabriel Mountains when she disappeared on January 13. The British actor starred in films such as A Room with a View or The Killing Fields.

The actor’s family released a statement earlier this week, thanking search teams who “worked tirelessly to find Sands.” They wrote: “We continue to hold Julian in our hearts, and we have wonderful memories of him as a father, husband, explorer, lover of nature and the arts, a true original and collaborative entertainer.” (BBC)
