A man found a treasure worth millions in his corn field

An American digging in his own cornfield found hundreds of gold coins Direct science. Lucky farmer finds 700 buried coins dating back to the American Civil War.

Experts who examined the hoard found that the hoard also contained rare coins, each worth several million forints.

According to the excavators, the large amount may have been dug up to loot the Civil War soldiers.
